Living our Stories in Africa!

Taking a rest after supper, I basked effortlessly in the echoed glory, uniqueness, significance of the 320th inaugural lecture in the series of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, Nigeria, titled, "LIVING OUR STORIES IN AFRICA: FICTION, FICTIONALITY AND THE WISDOM OF UNCERTAINTY", delivered by Professor of Literature-in-English, Chima Anyadike at Oduduwa Hall on Tuesday, 12th June, 2018. Consequently, they let the excess of whatever is to be contained run over in various forms and degrees of reactions. Trust a superior absorber. Superior absorbers are blessed. They have a common store as large as the cooking pot of a mother of fifteen children where everything absorbable can be kept. They are innately enduring. Only extremities pose problems to their able storage solution. They lack space for elephantine, drastic, acute adversities and end up reacting accordingly.       Having done a successful description of the two categories of absorbers that exist, it is absolutely necessary to acknowledge the existence of humans who are no...
